Faculty of Law, University of Delhi
Lecture on 'Global Approaches to Land Administration and Key Lessons for India’ during a Training Program by the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, in collaboration with Landstack - Center for Land for lawyers, judicial officers, administrators, scholars, and land department officials.

LBS National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie
Delivered a lecture on 'Acts, Principles and Stakeholders in Land Management and Dispute Resolution' at the LBS National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, a premier institution for training Indian Administrative Service (IAS) incumbents. Returning there after 40 years was a nostalgic journey, reminding me of the unforgettable two years I spent there as young trainee on joining the IAS.

Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad
Lecture at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad on 'Land Registration: Presumptive vs Conclusive Title'. While giving a global perspective of various land registration systems, I emphasised that both systems are widely used worldwide and can support efficient land markets. Instead of a debate on relative merits of either system, a country should improve the existing system for a better land administration to the people.

Azim Premji University, Bangalore
Workshop on Land Governance and Development
Enjoyed speaking on Land Administration: Global Practices and Indian Systems to the participants of ‘Land Governance and Development’ a workshop organised by Azim Premji University and Landstack - Center for Land. India is a diverse country with substantial differences in laws and procedures in different states. Facing questions from participants from 13 states was an interesting learning opportunity for me to know the ground position of land administration in various states.

National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata
Lecture on ‘Land Registration Act and other Land Laws’ in a course on “Legal and Court Procedures” for the officers of the Directorate of Registration and Stamp Revenue, West Bengal at the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. I talked about Indian laws on land registration, transfer of property and stamp duty,


National Centre for Good Governance, Mussoorie
Address to officers of Bangladesh Civil Service at the National Centre for Good Governance, Mussoorie. India and Bangladesh have similar systems of land administration and similar land-related laws enacted by the British in undivided India. I talked to them about land administration in India and best practices in other countries.
